Romanesque art is the most prominent artistic style in the Principality of Andorra. It is characterized by an extensive legacy that has been preserved to this day in the fields of religious and civil architecture, as well as images and paintings.

Casa Rossell de Ordino has been documented since the 15th century. Throughout the modern period it is one of the five houses with the most important economic and social weight in Andorra and, in Ordino, it is the second house after the Areny-Plandolit house. Joan Antoni Fiter i Rossell (1706-1748) is the best known representative of the Rossell de Ordino family as he is the author of the Manual Digest.
